John Hoppy Hopkins photos about the developing UK blues scene - 1960-65.
Much of Hoppy’s early work as a photographer in the early 1960s has become iconic, though he is better known for his later interests that included the UFO club, Notting Hill Carnival, International Times, Pink Floyd, London Free School, TVX & Fantasy Factory Video.
Now in his 70’s, Hoppy's photo book FROM THE HIP is the only published book of his photographs. These are the roots, and the roots of rhythm remain.
